Shoma gave Mao a bouquet honoring her retirement at the JSF annual award ceremony. Shoma thanked Mao for getting him into skating. Mao said she was surprised to receive the bouquet from Shoma. This season he had many good performances and results and she felt that he was reliable. (x)
